French Toast Kebabs

  •  1 pkg. french toast sticks
  • 1/2 cantalope, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1/2 pint fresh strawberries
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • powdered sugar (optional)
  • Maple syrup (optional)

Toast french toast sticks according to pkg. directions. Cut into bite size pieces. Thread french toast cubes onto skewers alternating with cantalope, strawberries, and banana slices. Serve immediately with powdered sugar and maple syrup, if desired.  May substitute with any fruit desired.

Fruit Smoothie

2 cups yogurt
1 cup orange juice
2 bananas, cut in chunks
1 cup sliced strawberries
Place all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth about 30 seconds.
You may substitute whatever fruit or juice that you would like.
Makes 4 servings.


Easy Breakfast Pizza

1 tube refrigerated biscuits (8 count)
8 slices cooked bacon
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
Roll biscuits into 6 inch rounds. Bake according to package directions. Sprinkle with bacon and cheese. Return to oven 3 – 5 minutes to melt cheese.
Makes 8 mini pizzas.

Breakfast Parfaits

2 cups pineapple chunks
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1 cup (8 ounces) vanilla yogurt
1 cup sliced ripe banana
1/2 cup chopped dates or raisins
1/2 cup granola cereal

In four parfait glasses or serving dishes, layer the pineapple,
strawberries, yogurt, banana and dates. Sprinkle with granola. Serve
immediately. 4 servings.
